New dimensions to Nuclear Science Instruction and Health Physics Training are available with the ST360 Geiger-Mueller Counter. A microprocessor controller incorporated in the ST360 means features previously available only by purchasing multiple instruments are now available in a single unit. The classical nuclear scaler has now become a timer, preset counter, digital ratemeter with alarm, and computer interface. A large 6 digit LED readout and a 0-1200VDC fully regulated variable power supply for GM or scintillation tubes is also a part of the ST360. All functions of the ST360 are accessible and can be controlled by the computer software provided with the unit.

The software also provides a real-time display of a simulated analog ratemeter with auto-ranging, or a digital ratemeter in CPM or CPS, count, elapsed time, preset count, preset time, high voltage setting, acquisition time, and run number. Data is loaded into spreadsheet compatible files for transfer to many common spreadsheet programs. |

GP 35 Geiger-Mueller tube assembly
A complete detector assembly utilizing a 35mm diameter end windowed GM tube for Alpha Beta Gamma detection. The plastic stand includes a sample tray and features 10-slots with 1cm spacing for performing inverse square law experiments and holding radiation absorbers.
The GM probe is readily removed from the stand for safe storage, hand-held applications or replacement.
